Tolerance

Please, how can I set a tolerance of a few seconds? This is nothing to do with daylight saving, but some of my files have a timing difference of 5 or 10 seconds. All the posts on this are old, and suggest that one has to alter the source code. But surely there must be a setting somewhere? If not, what should I do? This is a brilliant resource, but it is reporting that hundreds of files are out of sync, when in fact they are not.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
