Hi,
I newly use (for 1 month) a laptop DELL Vostro 3500 + windows 7 PS1.
I use freefilesync to make my daily saves.
With my new equipment (DELL), I get error messages that I had not with my former equipment (laptop SONY + windows XP), that is :
Cannot set directory lock for "E:\".
Cannot write file "E:\sync.ffs_lock".
Error Code 5: Accès refusé. (CreateFile)
The saving job seems to be well done, but the error messages are damaging my confidence!!!!
Would someone know why I get these messages, which are the consequence of a true problem, and how I can fix it.
Thanks in advance
Yours truly

Receiving no response , I put my head in my hands and I thought.............
The error messages indicate the FOLDER ( E: \). But ( E) is not a folder but a partition. So, I had the idea to put all the folders of partition (E) in a folder.
And it was a miracle : no error message anymore.
If it may help someone .....
