I've used FFS for quite a while. My system upgraded to win10 last week and have noticed that FFS is considerably slower since. I've actually had an external HD (WD Passport 1tb) fail on my yesterday during a batch job. Not saying its necessarily related but awfully coincidental. HD is less than 6 mo old with only 20GB used.
Has anyone else experienced slow performance on win10??

Were those slow jobs on that drive or also others? If your drive was about to fail slow speeds from it could be expected.

Sorry should have clarified. It's been slow on that drive when it was working but also to various USB's and other folders on the hard drive. I've been looking into it a little more and it seems like it might be a windows issue. Simply copying and pasting within folders i'm getting very strange results/speeds. I haven't found anyone with a fix yet. Thanks for your reply!
