Problem with FFS v > 7.9 on Win7 Prof

Hi,

FFS is very useful and I often use it to quick synchronize my files between office and home (via USB Memory Stick).
In office I have Win7 Prof (64bit) without admin privileges, so I cannot install anything. Therefore I install FFS at home (Win10 64bit), choosing portable mode, and copy whole FFS installation folder to office computer. It worked fine till version 8 of FFS. When I did the same with FFS v8, I got error message "Installation files are corrupt. Please reinstall FFS. Consistency check failed for "<path>install.dat"" (see attachment).
So I was forced to revert to version 7.9 which works well. Any ideas?

Thank you very much. So now I know the whole history and it is clear for me :) But it doesn't help me. It is a pity. Apparently I have to stay with v7.9 in office computer because "...it won't be possible to simply copy the files from one PC to another without an installation."
