I am using an iMac computer running El Capitan 10.11.5 along with this file sync program v8.3. I am new to this application. However, I did manage to set things up according to the instructions. My question is: when all is set up in Batch mode and a time and date has been chosen for unattended synchronization (Calendar, Automator, FileSync), do any of these programs need to be activated? Put another way, on a Mac, in the Dock, when an Application has been clicked on, a small dot pops up next to that icon. When all are minimized, nothing is displayed on the monitor, but the dot remains meaning that the application is active and resident in memory. If Calendar and Automator and FileSync have all been quit (key presses: Command, "Q"), will the batch file run at its scheduled time and day? Or do they all have to be on but minimized?
