Delete Left Item

"Delete Left Item"

Can someone clarify how this works and if the behavior is settable in FreeFileSync?

It's scary to see an automated process delete files by default.

After my first shock, I now understand that FFS is apparently maintaining a database that allows it to track files deleted since the last sync.

However, it would be much more comforting to have those files marked but left unchecked until I can determine if they should indeed be deleted from the target on sync.
