Hi all,
use Freefilesync 6.10 win 7 Ultimate 64 and NAS.
I have several hunded throusand files on my Server and have already done a copy run of several directories of different disks from my Server to a NAS drive.
Meanwhile changed a lot of subdirectories / rearranged them but the root Folder on the Server which is copy source is still the same.
The Destination root Folder on the NAS drive is identical but of course has the "old" Directory Schema.
Now, when performing an mirror Task (one way src2dst), i observe that e.g. the first hundred 1000 files will be found very fast, but then the search for files wait several seconds, Count again 20-200, wait several seconds and so on. I seems, that freefilesync notices that the known Directory Schema on destination drive does not any longer match the one of the source and maybe doing some relocating ?. The effect is, that the seach Task actual takes 9 hours to scan the Destination drives for known files/directories.

Is there a way to reset the known listing of Destination drive ?. I think to do a complete new copy Phase is much more fast and efficient that to wait that Long when freefilesync don't check what was going on.
Where are the Cache file Information or listings stored so that i can delete them ?

best regards
Fritz

FreeFileSync doesn't cache the directory structure between runs, so the slow down must have a differenc reason.
