Hi there.

I'm very much appreciating the new sftp feature! Is there a way to specify the port??? I'm using a non-default port number...

Currently FFS let's Windows automatically determine the port, which it retrieves from
%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\services
ssh 22/tcp

In case a non-default port is used: Shouldn't the above file be adapted then?

But you dont always use the default port, sometimes you can use one port, and for other connections use another port.

Looks like I'll have to add an option for "port"...

Hi. Yes, the default port number is 22, but I'm just running my SFTP server on an alternative port (e.g. 2222) to increase security. This port is then opened in my router config to access it remotely.

It would be great if the port number could be specified in FreeFileSync's SFTP dialog, perhaps in an additional input field. Or alternatively directly in the URL, e.g. sftp://myhome.com:2222, like in web browsers...

The "port" option has been added:
[404, Invalid URL: https://freefilesync.org/FreeFileSync_7.3_beta_Windows_Setup.exe]

It would be great to have a private/public key autentication!
