When doing a sync the UI will occasionally pause to warn that my Avast AV has a file locked. This is just random luck that a file happens to be getting checked for malware at the same time FFS is trying to copy it. By the time I click Retry Avast has long-since moved on to something else.
It would be helpful to be able to specify that a specific program should never get flagged for a file lock and that the default option is to Retry up to n times or n minutes. So I can whitelist Avast, Outlook, maybe Eclipse and Visual Studio, and any other apps that are likely to have a file in a temporarily locked state. It would be easier to just get the option to do this for all apps, that would be just as good.
I'm not positive but it's looking like FFS is still warning about locked files even though I clicked ignore. I just posted a bug note about a similar issue. This could use some testing.
Thanks.

See menu->tools->options: Automatic retry on error.
