8.4 on MAC gives LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Applications/FreeFileSync.app

Hi,
the new version brings an error, I have on every second new version or so. Opening the file brings the error

LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Applications/FreeFileSync.app


I have no idea, how to fix this. Reading on the internet is suggesting installing new Java (wich I did). I also checked the filesystem (with no effect.)

Does any Mac User have a solution for this? I have no idea, if this has something to do with FreeFileSync, or if I just "see" it more often, as FreeFileSync provides many updates.

Any help is welcome.
Mac is OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.6
