It would be nice when Synchronize is set to Update to have an optional dedicated Compare in Update mode in order to NOT scan the folders tree on Target for folders that are not on Source.
Here is a concrete example: my Target is a NAS with a huge capacity and I only want to update a bunch of folders at the root of it from my computer (Source), by adding some files there from time to time.
Every time I want to sync I have to rescan the whole NAS, which takes time. Not to mention it may have an impact on the NAS's disks lifetime.
I am aware I could update the Include section of the Compare filter to only include the few folders I want to keep in sync. But I don't want to. I'dd like to add another folder to sync from time to time without having to think I have to update the filter.
If implemented, this Compare mode should be optional according to me, because sometimes you want to do a full scan to see which files are only on the Target.
