FreeFileSync copying the same files

I have a bunch of files I've just transferred, but after checking, many of them stayed in the transfer window when it was complete.
So I did a compare, and transferred them again.
I've manually checked and the files have definitely been copied, yet they remain in FFS waiting to be copied again.
Anyone know what's going on?

is one drive NTFS and the other FAT or similar? if so try the comparison time shift setting

Very peculiar. The categorisation in the middle grid should give a first clue why the file pairs are still different.
