aiuto: quando apro l'applicazione mi cerca l'aggiornamento e si blocca la pagina web. che fare?

From what I can see, if you set:
Help | Check for new version -> Check automatically (uncheck)
Then you no longer get the popup notifying you of the update (though the Menu bar then does still display the fact that an update exists).
That said, seems it does not work for some, Stop Checking For Updates??
