Hi, I totally don't understand how to use Realtimesync. The manual is completely lacking of any understandable explanation. Where to put source and target; hoe to write a command line; where to get a ffs_batch file; how to compose a ffs_batch file, and so on?
I sought in the forum but to no avail. The links led to so-called manuals that explained nothing.
Can anyone give a decent explanation of how to use the program?
Regards,
Really??

All of it sounds very complicated but it is actually quite easy. Set up a sync in freefilesync and choose to save it as a batch job from the File menu option. Now start Realtimesync and choose File->Open then navigate to where you stored the batch job saved from freefilesysync. Realtimesync will open the job, set the monitored directories, and place a command line in to execute when there is a change in the structure. Bin using it for quite a few years now and it has always worked fine under windows. Problem is, I'm on Ubuntu now...
