Hello

I'm very happy with freefilesync, but I miss one feature...I didn't find any information in this forum about tags in OSX. Is there a way to copy the tags of the files and folders?

I guess that on of these exclusion may cause the problem:
/.fseventsd/
/.Spotlight-V100/
/.Trashes/
*/.DS_Store
*/._.*
/recycle/
Maybe the spotlight-v100 one? But that's the default, so do I risk something if I delete this exclusion?

The target file system does not support HFS+'s extended attributes and FFS will not create AppleDouble files as fallback: viewtopic.php?t=2226

Ok! Thank you!

So I suppose the problem is that I have created the configuration for a HDD HFS+ to NAS, and then I did a "save as" of the configuration for the same HDD HFS+ to an external HDD HFS+...

But I guess I can remove these filters for both the NAS and the external HDD? As I'm using the files in the NAS via the MAC OSX finder?

The filters serve two purposes: 1. give a quick example of the syntax 2. exclude files that are generally not needed for backup, so feel free to remove them.

Hi!
I come back with the same question because I don't really understand:

Is there a way to keep osx tags when syncing from HFS+ to HFS+ ?

Thank you
