or I'm just too much a greenhorn! Here we go:
I'd like to use FFS (FreeFileSync) to backup files on a NAS. I can access the target folder on the NAS over the windows network environment and I can even access the folder with FFS, but for some reasons I have to (do I?) run FFS as an administrator. In that case when I try to access the target folder e.g. "\\NAS\folder" I get a user/password prompt. But whatever login I use (windows account, NAS account) it doesn't work. I even tried to create a NAS account with the same username and password like my windows account. But nothing works. I deselected all options in FFS which need higher privileges for now.
- Which login do I have to use when I try to access the network drive with FFS? (The NAS login I suppose.)
- Any idea?
I'm running a Windows 7 pro (64 bit) OS and a ds215j NAS.
Thanks,
Peter

I also have exactly the same problem but on the Mac OSX version of FFS.
My NAS is a QNAP.
However, I also run Windows PCs on my network, and they work fine.
