Hi all,

I was having a problem with FreefileSync running every 3 days for some strange reason from the task scheduler.?, despite the task being set for daily. Creating dummy tasks for the same schedule works daily, so really puzzled.

Googling, it was suggested to run the task under SYSTEM and not the username.
So I created a new task and it appears to run. In task scheduler, I can only see last run, but I would normally check the logs to see when it ran.

Where would FFS store the logs for SYSTEM if it is able to do so?

TIA

C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\FreeFileSync.
See https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=schedule-a-batch-job
So for the logs it's better to not leave the log folder empty and explicitly say where FFS should put them.
