When opening free FFS 7.8, auto check for update, get msg "Cannot find current FreeFileSync version number online. Do you want to check manually?"
Stupid question - by downloading & installing vs. 9.0, how do I insure all my settings, filters, etc. are retained? I assume this is like a new installation, not just an update?

Installed just fine; I just ran "compare", looked OK. Shortcut on Taskbar remained valid, now showing vs. 9. Almost too easy!
