Cannot resolve "Items differ in attributes only"

I sync multiple folders between my laptop and 2 external drives. Out of the blue, I now get the error message "Items differ in attributes only" from 2 folders on the external drives.
It seems folder *contents* are still being synchronized, so the error message seems to be informational. Don't know why this error started showing-up and how to fix it.

I figured-out the problem! The folders used different cases. Some used upper and lower cases, while one used all lower-case naming.

FFS cannot determine a direction in which to sync, thous the warning, because the item will be skipped.
