Im using 6.14 and have seem this problem in previous versions too. My sync job(pc->pc2) is simple, few exclusions and done. VerifyCopiedFiles is turned on lately. Transfer is made through SMB.
By saying killing network i mean it. Both computers had to reboot to regain network sometimes. Most of the time your software just hangs, stops responding but comes back a few seconds later, the network becomes unresponsive in this situation also.
It seems the entire network stack is dying/re-launching. I don't think my router is the problem, i have never seen this with another lan transfer.
I'm sure you will want logs, just tell me where they will be, or how i can generate them.
I think FFS is killing my Windows network. (Windows 8. Lan sync)

See help file chapter "Expert Settings: RunWithBackgroundPriority" and see if this will help.
