Creating batches

I feel like this is a really stupid question, but the Help topic is super vague, and other related information I've seen on the web seems to apply to a different version, which has an "Advanced" menu. My version has no such menu.

I'm simply trying to create a batch that will mirror two pairs of folders in succession. The "Help" file says to use the "Save as batch file" option to create the batch, but that only seems to save the current configuration - there's no obvious way to schedule more than one pair. I'm assuming it's possible, since there are online discussions of ways to do it, but they all involve this "Advanced" menu that isn't in my version. So has this feature been dropped? Or is there something else I'm missing?

FFS 6.15
Win7 64-bit

Thanks,
Bryon

Maybe the plus button to add a second folder pair on the main dialog?

I see that now. What seems to have happened is that batch building has been integrated into the non-batch mode, unlike before. You can actually build and run batches ad hoc.

Playing with it a bit more, I found another way. I had saved a couple settings, one for each folder pair. They're listed on the left. It will let you select multiple, and then you can save that as a batch.

It's actually pretty slick, but it's not obvious (especially after reading the older advice online). It's one of those "once you know it, it's obvious" things (which are sometimes mislabeled as "intuitive"). I don't know if they ever read these forums, but in case... adding this info to the Help section on scheduling batches would be really nice for the next guy that's trying to decode this.

Thanks; that was helpful.

There are a number of these neat tricks, that save quite some time and add convenience. I'm planning a specific help file section or maybe an FAQ on the homepage or both.
