I email the log and something in the processing chain doesn't like UTF so I get this:
[2:00:02 AM] Info: Synchronizing folder pair: [Mirror –>]
Not a big deal but it really bugs me since everything else about FFS is so simple and effective. I cringe every time I see this. I tried a few search/replace options but the goofy characters are elusive and I'm no expert batch programmer.
update: finally figured out how to replace the binary characters with a .bat file. Fancy text does not belong in a log file! Love FFS, it's such a relief after struggling with the incredibly wrong-headed solution distributed by a well-known software company in Redmond.
