Dear all,
I have a question regarding RealTimeSync. I'm using FreeFileSync since a while and I think it is the best sync tool sinc rsync. "Since rsinc" because it much quicker in finding new/changed/deleted files. I know that rsync is working differently with an index on both sides and "just" matching the two index files, but this saves a lot of time.
My task is to find changes in a network folder with arround 550.000 files/folders and about 1.7 TB of data. The changes are just some GB but I need to synchronize every two hours. I did with FreeFileSync, but it took more than two hours to compare the folders, the copy process was done in minutes. My question: would RealtimeSync be able to handle this number of data? I read that RealTimeSync is tracking the changes which is a very efficent method in my eyes. Has anyone experience in a similar environment?
Thanks in advance
