Malwarebytes does not allow Windows Installer

Because of the third party installer, Malwarebytes does not allow the Windows installer to run and install the product for version 9.4. It is flagged as a PUP - potentially unwanted product. FYI.

I'm about ready to get rid of Malwarebytes (and I have the paid version). The latest update scans slowly and I can't use my browser while a scan is running without it locking up the browser and much of the rest of my computer. I have to do a cold shutdown and reboot to get the use of my computer back.
I was able to download FFS 9.4 but Malwarebytes hit on it as soon as I tried to run the update. I got around Malwarebytes(my backside) by shutting it down until I got 9.4 installed. I ran a scan with AVAST and didn't get a hit. Same for Adware Cleaner. I'm going to let Malwarebytes run its scheduled scan in the early morning when I'm not using the computer. I also took a look at Programs and Features and, other than FFS 9.4, no new programs were installed.
I did a quick backup update on four of my backup drives (running two instances of FFS at a time) and everything seemed to work just fine.
