HowTo exclude #recycle ?

Hi,

I tried to exclude a folder named #recycle (from a Synology NAS), but failed to do so. Options I have tried:

\#recycle\
*\#recycle\
\\#recycle\
\[#]recycle\

I couldn't find anything related to that in the doc, might be that # is some kind of special char for FreeFileSync?

thanks for sending me that link, I already checked that prior to posting here. Even after reading it again I don't understand why excluding

\#recycle\

doesn't work.

Try to exclude it from the FFS GUI via the right-click context menu.

Thanks, that did the trick. No idea why as it adds the same text to the exclusion filter:

*\#recycle\

Anyway, thanks a lot!
