"group by" function of equal results?

Hi there. I am new in this forum.

First of all I would like to congratulate the developers for creating such an excellent tool and especially a free one. I will personally donate some money.

Now to the subject.

I compared 2 folders and I am interested in "equal" files. So I press the equal button and I see among all the files the equal ones highlighted with the = sign. However I want to group together all the equals of the left side only to delete them at once and not choosing each file separately and then deleting them all. Think of it as a "group by" function that there is on windows (bliah) folder exploring options....

I don't use the program as a backup function that much but to compare backup (copied) folders of the same pc created in different periods...so I have double files which I want to delete from the older folder only

Thank you in advance for your time and apologies if the topic has been covered in the past...I checked both the forum and google to find a similar issue and came back with no relevant results.

PS: it would be useful to add in this forum an "add picture from computer" button so that one can upload a printscreen picture file (jpeg) to explain his issue in a more comprehensive way and save everybody's time. The "insert image" button here refers only to URL one right?

Uhm, you just select and delete them? Maybe I don't understand the problem.

PS: You can upload images as an attachment (and even place them inline).
