File from ffs RecycleBin taking forever to delete

For a few months now I've had a problem with FFS hanging while deleting files from the temporary "RecycleBin.xxxx.ffs_tmp" folder on the target drive. The backup seems to be going fine, but then it just stalls after all the files have been copied.

I can't be certain, but this MAY have started when I upgraded to 9.7 to 9.8. I am currently running 9.9, and still having the same problem.

As you can see from the screen grabs, the backup is basically done at 4:20, still trying to delete the file at 7:51, and finally finishes at 15:02.

I've tried running FFS with elevated privileges, but the problem persists.
