Access Online Storage window. I'm using:
Connection type: SFTP
Server Name: https: // OneDrive . Live . com (without spaces)
Typed in my User name and Password
Click on Browse (Directory on server)
Response: Unable to connect to onedrive server
Error Code 10060 (host failed to respond)
How to give authorization for FreeFileSync to allow full access to my Onedrive account?
I have used Easeus ToDo backup to connect to OneDrive and during first time, program prompted me to give them permission to access my OneDrive account. The program contacted OneDrive and received permission to access and make changes to the account. It seems that FFS is missing this step.

Anyone had any success with this? I have tried allsorts and my only solution was to use ALLWAY Sync which has a section for various cloud syncs.
I did get it to partly work (as above) by assigning an Explorer drive letter to my onedrive using this method:
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/map-cloud-storage-drive-windows
Works nicely, the only problem is that certain characters get changed while viewing, so that unless you have very strict (and restrictive) naming conventions the sync throws up lots of mismatches.I'm guessing due to Invalid server characters as in:
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/invalid-file-names-and-file-types-in-onedrive-onedrive-for-business-and-sharepoint-64883a5d-228e-48f5-b3d2-eb39e07630fa
There is of course the newer date problem, but I will have to live with that.

don't use that junk, had a person die, no one knew password, some items (ALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN) were marked for online only (by Microsoft because this person didn't know anything about it)
it shows on local pc as greyed, and cannot access the file, as he was switched from MS to local account years ago
so long story short, those files are gone forever.
I will NEVER put anything in these cloud providers, they change rules etc , bugs etc..
MS has some pages about things changed, broken, fixed later, to be fixed
Make yourself an Xpenology NAS, buy Synology or QNAP and be in control of your own data
