Cannot instal Version 10.0 on OSX

I am running a mid-2011 iMac with OSX 10.13.4.

I have twice downloaded the OSX FreeFileSync V10.0, and cannot instal because the process halts about 60% through the verification of the pkg.

Fortunately 9.9 still works fine for me!

Does anyone else have this problem, or better yet, a fix for it?

Update - it seems that the first attempt to instal did something unpleasant to OSX, as I subsequently found that the Finder would not respond.

After a restart of the machine, FreeFileSync 10.0 installed correctly - and is now working well.
