Hi, new to FFS and impressed after having tried numerous alternatives...
This didn't seem obvious from the UI and I couldn't find confirmation in Help, but are files copied during a Synchronize automatically verified (e.g. CRC/hash comparison) to ensure the files were correctly copied over? Or does a 'Compare' run have to be run after Synchronize to be sure?
Thanks for a great piece of software - and especially for removing bad-candyware!
Synchronize - does it verify copied files?

Offically, there is no way to verify a file has copied correctly but there is an unofficial "hack". Just follow the below steps:
1. Go to AppData in the User folder.
2. Open the Roaming folder.
3. Open the FreeFileSync folder.
4. Click on GlobalSettings.xml
5. Look for the line VerifyCopiedFiles Enabled and change false to true.
6. Save when closing.
It may be necessary to repeat the above steps several times to get the setting to “stick”. Once it "sticks", you will not need to repeat this ever again; it will automatically verify copied files everytime.
Be aware this "hack" will double the amount of time needed to run FFS.
