I run a couple of simple folder pairs one at a time between a PC (Windows 10) and a laptop (Windows 7) , no batch files. The message I get is 'Cannot create directory lock for..... Cannot write file....... Error code 5: access denied.
I have had the same fault on FFS versions 6.9 and 7.4.
I have checked and rechecked folder sharing and permissions.
Running FFS as Administrator does not help.
I have been to C:Program Files\FreeFileSync and checked the box 'Run this program as an Administrator', this did not help.
If I select the 'Ignore' button the compared results will not sync.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
