Hello all,
I just would like to synchronize two websites hosted on linux servers.
I'm using Freefilesync 10.3 on windows.
When I compare the two websites, freefilesync doesn't detect file case differences; "file1" is the same as "File1" as of it and it show them as conflicting items.
How can I solve this?
Is there an option I missed?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Currently FreeFileSync is case-insensitive on Windows/macOS and case-sensitive on Linux. I'm considering to make case-insensitive the default on all platforms. Are there actual cases where file names differing only in case need to coexist in the same folder at a time?

Hi Zenju,
thanks for your reply.
I can explain my case:
I built a website (on linux web server) where a user can upload a file (no restrictions on the file name). So the website holds files that are named similarly (myfile.pdf, Myfile.pdf, myFile.pdf, anotherfile.jpg... and so on). In this "case", they must coexist, since every file is unique.
P.s.: I cannot even download all files to my pc since I work on windows (I zip all files on one big zip file on the server before downloading it to windows).

Case-sensitive SFTP to SFTP sync on Windows/macOS is working with the improved path handling as of FreeFileSync 10.6.
