Quick Temp Exclusions, what happened?

I used version 6 for a long time and after a compare I was able to right
click an item(s) on the tree to the left of the interface and
"temporarily" exclude it from sync. When I excluded an item it was
still visible, just faded/greyed out. I would execute the sync and when
done close the sync dialog. After doing this, the excluded item was still
there in the tree to the left, visible but faded. I could then "include"
again if needed.

I upgraded a while back to version 10 and since then when I
temporarily exclude an item(s) and compare, the exclusion "disappears"
and will not return to view until after I do another compare.

What gives? This is my favorite feature of the program. Was it removed?

I'm not talking about exclusions using the asterisk.
Also, I looked around in the settings and couldn't find anything for
this particular issue.

I usually highlight and alt + down or right click ignore
then you can turn off the - at bottom filter or see sizes by toggling the buttons (filters at bottom)
I also use the delete and highlight just files (sort by size) and select files and exclude them if I want to NOT delete
I WISH there was a filter button at top to x files x folders to toggle the view option in left / rights

I'm having this problem too. I would like to temporarily exclude files and have them remain in the list. Even when I select "Show filtered or temporarily excluded files", they still disappear from the list. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong.
