I would like to report an issue with FreeFileSync 10.5 under OS X. I am connecting via FTP (Explicit SSL/TLS) to a Synology NAS. Comparison setting is "File time and size" and synchronisation setting is on Mirror.
For some reason the remote file time is rounded to either 02:00:00 or 01:00:00 see screenshot:
When I check it using FileZilla I do see the correct, not rounded times. Is this a bug in FFS? I would love to go from the free version to a donated version. But at the moment I can not work around this problem.
This looks like a case where the server doesn't support MLST and also doesn't return the time information in their raw file listing: The 2:00 is likely just the time offset to UTC midnight for your time zone. If that is the case, then I'm wondering how FileZilla is able to retrieve better time info. Is it possible to provide me with a test account for your NAS?
Your server does in fact support MLST, but advertises it in a very short (but still valid!) way that FreeFileSync didn't parse correctly, so the legacy file listing method had to be used.
The problem has been fixed. Thanks for your test login which allowed for some nice and easy bug fixing! https://www.mediafire.com/file/2677igqqvc840mx/FreeFileSync_10.6_%255BBeta%255D_Windows_Setup.exe
