Google Docs Sync. Can it be done?

Hi, I'm new here.

I love FFS and donated and use it on my local laptop and 3Tb networked drive here at home for general back ups. I also use Google Docs for some things. I know GD is supposed to detect when files are added to monitored folders and a sync up, in a perfect world. It works most of the time but it's not perfect.

I was wondering if there's a way to force a sync to my Google Drive folders.

I'm fairly computer literate but I'm not a coder and can't figure it out. I tried using the FTP feature but couldn't get it to work

I'm using Windows 10 and normal MS Office Suite software. Nothing exotic.
