I have just upgraded my MacBook to macOS Mojave (10.14.2). Running FreeFileSync I get this error code:

Error Code 1: Operation not permitted [opendir]

for one, and only one file, and the file is my Photos library (Photos Library.photoslibrary). This error did not occur when I was using High Sierra (10.13.6).

Your help would be appreciated in resolving this problem.

Check out viewtopic.php?t=5706#p18924

Starting with Mojave, macOS locks down a bunch of directories, including ~/Pictures (where Photos Library.photoslibrary resides)

Thanks jmsxl, I do wish Apple and others would stop piling up so much security that legit applications experience problems.

I found a solution. In System Preferences -> Security & Privacy - > Privacy select Full Disk Access in the left pane and add FreeFileSync. This opens Locked down directories to FreeFileSync.
