I have noticed some people complaining about FFS being slow in comparing/synchronizing, especially in the latest version, but only on windows and on mac. I have been having the same problem but on Ubuntu Linux.
FFS is taking around 6 hours for comparing two external HDD and is estimating 430 days for mirroring the same two HDDs (transfering around 140 GB and about 1 500 000 files). I am using FFS 10.7. I didn't manage to fix this problem with the solutions proposed in other forum posts.
I have attached a screenshot below to illustrate my problem.
FreeFileSync is the best file syncing software out there, but this problem is making it impossible to keep working with FreeFileSync. Can someone please help me fix it?
