I am using FFS to synchronize files between a PC with Win 7 64bit and a Tablet Android 7.1.1.
The Tablet does not have a SIM-card and it was showing the original factory date and time of 01.01.2017.
I connected the Tablet via USB to the PC in order to copy a bunch of files to the Tablet.
The first synchronisation produced the time stamp 01.01.2017 on all files and folders copied from the PC to the Tablet :(
I can't find any information in the forum or tutorials on how to fix this problem.
Thanks for your help!
Date stamp changed after sync

Thanks Plerry, for the quick response!
I would like to test my scenario with the version that was mentioned in the second thread
https://www.mediafire.com/file/3iavwthq3je7gao/FreeFileSync_8.10_Windows_Setup.exe
But the link is broken and downloading the version from the archive (8.10 Debian 8.7 64-bit) and extracting the .gz-file with 7-zip did not yield any setup file.
Can you help me with that?

I am a (meanwhile longstanding) enthusiastic user of FFS, but I don't hold archive of the different releases.
So, sorry, can't help you there.
But, normally later versions should be better with less regular file systems, like MTP.
So, I would not expect the earlier version to work better in this respect.
