Feature suggestion: Colours for Includes/Excludes

It would be great if the default listing was gray and anything that's filtered with Includes or Excludes becomes colorized. Currently, if something is added to includes/excludes, it is removed from the list. Which makes it difficult when I am trying to find the right folders/files I want to choose, etc as I have to add a * flag to see all of the files, then remove it before I proceed.
