Bitdefender and FreeFileSync Problem

I updated today from 10.08 to 10.12. All went well. At the final install screen I saw the donation reminder and decided to donate for the donation version.

During the install of the duration version something went wrong and Bitdefender complained and threw up a a 'disinfection in progress' dialogue.

It seems that the unistal file - unins000.dat was the cause of the problem. Ho hum. I went back to the 'ordinary' version which now also refuses to install -iPersistFile::Save failed, code 0x80070005. Access is denied.

So now I have no FreeFileSync - which is not the effect I was looking for?

Got info via email today that Bitdefender has fixed whatever it was that caused their false-positive detection of FFS 10.12:

Quick update, Bitdefender have confirmed the issue and have implemented a fix to be released in an update today.
