Flatten folder structure?

I have a folder structure i would like to sync to a flattened folder.

I would then like to be able to sync updates back to the original folders.

I believe I can do the later however, the former still eludes me. I can add each folder individually, but that becomes rather tedious. Being able to just choose a path and flatten the structure yet still sync back to original locations for updates would be ideal.

Anyone with more experience have any good ideas?
