Don't automatically sync on update

Hi

I used to be able to manually synchronize the files I wanted - a pop-up would prompt to start synchronization and I would click cancel and then manually select certain files, however it's now syncing everything automatically without that pop-up. How do I go back to the previous option?

menu -> tools -> options: show hidden dialogs again
