SFTP transfer of files with a vertical bar or pipe ( | ) in the file name

Thank you for this awesome program!

bug?
Files that have a vertical bar or pipe in their name cause an error "Could not create file" when downloading from the SFTP site.

I manually synchronized these files with FileZilla.

Re-ran sync and sync does not see these files as being the same filenames - in customized "mirror" it wants to delete the local files and try to redownload the server file (set to "no action" for both left and right side newer).

FreeFileSync 7.8 Jan 1 2016 build.
I have no idea what the SFTP server is.

This could be an encoding issue. Is your SFTP server using UTF-8 or ANSI?

I'm pretty sure it's UTF-8.

I put in a support ticket with my provider to see if they can tell me for sure.
