The mtp protocol does not support directory monitoring:

Phone Software: Android 8.0
PC Software: Windows 10
Any help ist appreciated!

No help needed.
It is simply as stated:
The MTP protocol does not support directory monitoring,
so you can not use RTS to monitor MTP directories for changes.
However, FFS is (still) able to work with MTP directories.

I replaced mtp with ffs. But now it's monitoring C:\Users\[User]\Desktop\TECNO F2LTE\Internal shared storage\DCIM\Camera. I wanted the batch job to start when the phone is connected, but now it doesnt. It's just looking for a Desktop folder that doesn't exist.

You cannot do what you are trying to do. RTS monitors the folders in the sync and will start a batch job when it detects a change or when it is connected. mtp DOES NOT support this, so RTS will never see the phone connect to the computer. This is not a problem or feature missing from RTS, it is a feature missing from the mtp protocol.
