I like to sync data between my cellphone and my (Linux) laptop over USB using FreeFileSync.

Unfortunately versions later than FreeFileSync_10.17_Linux do not support this. What happens is that when I open my file manager and click on my cellphone, no file tree appears. So I still use FreeFileSync_10.17_Linux, even though FreeFileSync_10.19_Linux is released.

I no longer support FFS financially because of this.

I have a suspicion what might have caused this (although I'm surprised that MTP access via FFS worked at all in the past). Does the following version work on your Linux system? (Which is it BTW?)

Hello,
With the version 10.20 beta it works like 10.17 .OS: Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.3 64-Bit.

I sincerely apologize that I did not see Zenju's 29 Dec, 2019 response or I would have replied.
The good news is that I have downloaded the new public version, 10.20, and it works fine for me.
Thank you FreeFileSync / Zenju.
