I've just installed FreeFileSync and there appears to be a bug in the installer.
When it adds the shortcuts to the desktop, it re-arranges all my other desktop shortcuts!
Can you please provide instruction of how to get all my shortcuts back to the correct location and fix the installer so it doesn't do this.

Unfortunately this is a function of Windows and not the installer. You might be able to tell Windows to not auto-rearrange icons. Right-click part of the blank desktop area, and look in the context menu that appears, for some kind of options about "auto-sort" or "automatically rearrange."

I've already got windows set to not auto arrange the icons. No other software installation has ever moved all my other icons to random places, so it must be something specific about the FreeFileSync installer.

Nothing to do with FFS. Windows does that sometimes
