Deleted File Versioning Controls?

I absolutely love this tool; it is amazingly useful and terrific for backing
up local data to the server for 'real' backups when I can. I am also using the
versioning for deleted files. I'm curious though if there is any current way,
or a plan to integrate with the next release, to control the number of deleted
files of a specific name has? Meaning, if I make changes across several days
to an Office file or a picture or whatever, is there a way to control how many
copies will be backed up during the changes?
