ERROR_IO_DEVICE: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. [CreateDirectory]

I created some new directory's on my NAS and then attempted to sync to a backup NAS. I am getting the following error when trying to sync.

Error Cannot create directory "\\nas02\backup\docs_bkup\<directory>".
ERROR_IO_DEVICE: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. [CreateDirectory]

Any thoughts on why FFS can't create directory's on the backup NAS? Permissions are open to public, so shouldn't be a permission issue.

I don't think this is an issue with FFS. I think that I have an issue with my NAS which I need to further investigate.
