After I completed my basic FFS and RTS setup on my stationary computer and synced all relevant folders there with my NAS, I went on to set up specific folders on my laptop to sync with their respective folders on the same NAS.
I then was very surprized to see that a big number of files were missing on the NAS, files that were definitely on it after I had completed that initial setup and synced the stationary computer. Only about 11 - 12% of the files were still there.
However, the folder structure seemed to be still intact.
I have no idea what caused this.
Can anyone on here imagine what might have caused this? Can it be caused by FFS or RTS, when I used it somehow wrong?
Files - but not the folders - vanished from monitored folders

You probably ran a mirror sync on both devices, causing the laptop to delete anything that the first machine had synced to the NAS that the laptop didn't also contain. You need to use two-way or update for syncing multiple devices to the same location
