Bug? Incomplete sync when delayed closing of error popup

The logs below show what happened when I:

1. Set up a sync pair between C: and USB thumbdrive G:

2. Edited a pmwiki page (pmwiki is a file-based CMS), which caused an update to about six pages in total

As you can see, the first time I edited the page, syncing halted with an error popup, which I only noticed after about 10 minutes. I cleared it with the IGNORE button and "don't show this message again." It then synced a single file out of the six that had updated.

I visually compared the two folders and confirmed it had failed to sync all but one file (.flock) of the six that had updated.

I edited the pmwiki page again, which updated the six files again. This time the sync worked as expected, with all six files being synced from C: to G:.

Therefore, I believe there is a bug associated with the popup of error messages, possibly to do with leaving the message unattended for some time. I'll do some more testing and add findings to this topic.

I am just starting to use FFS, and have been getting this same error message:

The recycle bin is not available for the following folders. Files will be deleted permanently instead.

I'm not sure what to make of it. I can run the same sync using SyncToy, it works as expected. The first few times I saw it, it seemed to have something to do with the locked status of the file, e.g., if it was opened in Word. But it's something else, possibly in addition to that, because I'm still getting it when the file isn't locked.

I'm using version 6.14 with Windows 8.1.

The destination is a folder shared over the Homegroup. I'm not getting other errors related to permissions, etc.

Anyone know what this is about?

The Windows Recycle Bin is not available for most removable drives like USB memory sticks.
BTW, this is *not* an error, but a warning only.
